Do you want to be part of the grocery revolution? At Picnic, you get the chance to join a young and forward-thinking startup culture, where everything you do matters. With a data-driven approach and an incredible service, Picnic strives to make grocery shopping simple, fun, and affordable for everyone. Known for our just-in-time supply chain and a unique last-mile delivery strategy, we have become one of the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands!

Our engineers are highly involved and essential to each part of our company. From route planning, scaling our customers’ analytics to handing enormous chunks of data, to calculating how many bananas we should have in our warehouse on a Thursday – our teams write, plan, and predict.

Using next-generation technologies, we constantly evolve our backend and frontend systems. Now we are on the lookout for brilliant QA Engineers to help us maintain our high level of quality while writing the future of in-app grocery shopping.

🏢 Where you fit in

As one of our QA Engineers, you grab ownership of project quality, grow, and work collaboratively with your colleagues. You define test strategies, design test plans, coach your team on quality assurance practices while offering a creative and analytical approach. You feel at home implementing automated tests and display an intricate understanding of how each test fits into a business plan.

Since we use different stacks at our domain teams, we will provide you with a variety of technical and organizational challenges. So together we can find the best fit for your skillset and ambitions.

For example, your focus could be on testing and implementing regression automation suites for new user-facing features on mobile applications or web applications. Some of our domain teams would use your experience to set up automated frameworks for our backend services. Or you would need to contribute into data-focused testing to ensure high quality of the scheduling, planning, and prediction algorithms.

You’ll be managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while finding yourself fully immersed in an engaging startup culture. We don’t hide what we do. Instead, we open-source with the community that helped us grow. Here’s proof: http://picnic.tech
