🥜 In a nutshell 

You’ll join the Customer Team which is responsible for the online acquisition and onboarding of new customers, as well as campaigns geared towards our most loyal customers. This means you’ll work on digital content to support concepts targeting all sorts of (potential) Picnic customers. The context and goal of your work will vary. One week you might be combining animation and video to create content for a big online advertising campaign. The next week you might be making subtle changes to digital assets to be displayed in our app, enhancing the experience for loyal customers. We’re looking for a versatile digital designer who is eager to work on a broad variety of topics.

You’ll work alongside data analysts, business owners, and developers, making sure there is always a clear understanding of the “why” behind your creations. You’ll collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to build holistic solutions, and will be happy to present design options and explain decisions, while always keeping an open mind. 

Within the Customer Team, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from great designers and work on all visuals that are a key part of a rapidly-growing scale-up. You’ll join a growing team of content creators and your work will make a significant contribution to the next chapter of Picnic!

🎯 What you’ll do

  • Guide, coach, and inspire other designers in your team
  • Develop a shared vision for the future of our brand and visual identity
  • Create creative concepts for new online advertising campaigns
  • Create digital & print media to streamline the onboarding of new customers 
  • Develop cross-channel campaigns to engage  our existing customers
  • Test and validate designs either through user testing or A/B testing online
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders crafting solid concepts
  • Build a library of marketing and branding assets ensuring quality across the board

⭐ About you

  • Bachelor degree in relevant design field 
  • 5+ years of experience working for consumer facing brands
  • Passion for visual design and a solid (online) portfolio
  • Competent with complete Adobe Suite
  • Solid communication skills and the energy to inspire fellow designers
  • Ability to clearly present design options and explain design decisions
  • A self-starter who is keen to get involved and equally comfortable with leading and following 
  • Attention to detail, ability to notice the small but important things
  • An innate high standard of quality and dedication to continuous iteration and improvement in a fast-paced environment
  • Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the Netherlands

Work-life balance
