Art Director Presentation

We are looking for an Art Director Presentation to continuously innovate and evolve our campaign concepts and in-app shopping experience.  

Across Picnic, we are currently in full throttle taking our visual identity and assortment presentation to the next level. Leveraging our online position, we continuously rethink how we can best present our assortment and product experiences. We are looking for a director that can’t wait to play an impactful role in this brand evolution. A true opportunity to shape the face of online grocery shopping and impact hundreds of thousands of Picnic customers every day across multiple countries!

Your challenge is to guide customers through their journey, towards new products and experiences. You develop appealing concepts and make sure they are executed in the best possible way, leveraging all online opportunities. You will be part of the Presentations and Photography team. Working together with our in-house designers, your relentless drive for top quality will be satisfied every day. Working alongside business owners, data analysts, and developers, you will create new strategies and guidelines. You are open to present & discuss your approach with great enthusiasm, while always keeping an open mind. Strong opinions, weakly held!

Within Picnic, you will have the opportunity to learn from great designers and work on all visuals that are part of a scale-up business. You will join a growing team of designers and your work will make a big contribution to the next chapter of the Picnic.

What you do

  • Develop a shared vision on how to best present our assortment and inspire our customers in a digital context
  • Keep up to date with general trends and developments across the domain of e-commerce
  • Evolve and build upon our storefront assets to continuously highlight our assortment in the best possible way
  • Collaborate with content creators to deliver creative briefs  that will support assortment related content themes
  • Guide, coach and inspire in-house and external designers
  • Test and validate new ideas either through user testing or A/B testing in-app
  • Collaborate with business leads to oversee general quality, analyze performance and adjust strategy where needed

What you need

  • 5+ years of experience working for consumer-facing brands
  • Competent with complete Adobe Suite
  • Solid communication skills and the energy to inspire
  • Ability to clearly present options and explain decisions
  • Self-starter with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude, equally comfortable to lead and to follow 
  • Attention for detail, ability to notice the small but important things
  • An innate high-quality standard and dedication to continuously iterate and improve
  • Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Eligible to work in the Netherlands
