Where you fit in

Recruiting is a core strategic driver of our success. As our Supply Chain & Operations recruiter, or Talent Scout, you will be in charge of recruiting people for our supply chain teams. You will also be a business partner for the team lead of the team(s) you recruit for, you will know their needs before they are able to spot them themselves!

You define the hiring targets and are responsible for meeting them. You are in charge of the full recruitment process and are encouraged to use your creativity to improve our recruitment processes and our visibility. You can organize events, shoot promo videos, develop a traineeship, organize workshops for employees and so on. The possibilities are endless!

You will be part of the People team and regularly join forces with the central recruitment team sitting in the Düsseldorf and Amsterdam offices. You will spend a few days a week in the Düsseldorf office, approximately 1 day per week at a Fulfilment Center, and you can work from home. You will work closely together with the other supply chain & operations recruiters in DE (Julius Schwab, Kyria Liendo Grau, Maria Jäger), NL and FR.

  • Find and hire many exceptional candidates in a short time; you will lead them through the whole application process
  • Ultra-sharp assessment of skills, performance, and cultural fit of candidates
  • Build a robust pipeline of top candidates for immediate or future on-boarding
  • Develop innovative strategies to find new talent
  • Think outside the box; what can we do that no one else does?

What you need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in human resource management or psychology
  • 2-6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a recruitment role in an e-commerce business
  • Fluent English as well as German skills
  • Willingness to travel to different Picnic locations in Germany on a regular basis, most of them in the NRW region
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener
  • You are proactive and do not fear the unknown
  • Flexibility to work with a variety of people
