HR Operations Business Partner (interim / CDI)

Important note: Since we just started rolling out Picnic in France, we’re currently working from our Fulfilment Center in Fretin (close to Lille). Until we have an office location in Paris, you can work remotely from Paris and join the team in Fretin for 2 or 3 days a week. Transport, accommodation, and food will be taken care of! 🍎

Where you fit in

We’re looking for someone who can lead the setup and development of the HR function in operations. You’ll be responsible for establishing and driving key HR processes such as contracting, onboarding, people reviews, sickness, and collaboration with the temp agencies. As an integral part of the French team, you’ll collaborate closely with the HR team in the Netherlands. Do you look at the bigger picture and use data to guide your work? Are you comfortable challenging convention and want to reinvent how work is done? Do you enjoy having a direct impact through one-on-one conversations? Then you’ve found your home! 

What challenges await you

  • Be a trusted advisor and a coach to the leadership team on labor topics in operations
  • Drive strategic thinking on workforce planning, remuneration, and HR policies
  • Drive & develop key HR processes such as contracting, onboarding, reviews, temp agency collaboration, and employee claims
  • Manage communication with external stakeholders such as governmental institutions

Who you are

  • 5+ years experience of HR leadership in operations, and setting up and running key HR processes
  • Extensive practical experience with labor law, and workforce representation and unions
  • Ideally, experience with the Transport CLA
  • The ability to think outside the current conventions, and strong ability to adapt to changes
  • Strong project management and operations experience 
  • Fluency in French and English
  • You can join our team on an interim basis or on a permanent (CDI) basis
