Performance Marketer (Tech Team)

🥜 In a nutshell

We’re currently growing incredibly fast, and as such, the need to hire new colleagues is a top priority. As a Performance Marketer, you’ll be part of our tech recruitment team, helping to find exceptional talent for our innovative tech teams. You’ll use your data-driven approach to help us find and reach the right audience for our tech roles. Working closely with our content teams, you’ll set up and optimize SEA and paid social media campaigns to generate more applications from the right candidates—it’s all about quality! Most importantly, you help shape the long term digital recruitment strategy of Picnic.

With great communication skills, you’ll meet regularly with teams and stakeholders to discuss new ideas and share insights from previous and current campaigns. 

🎯 What you’ll do

You’ll use data and your own expert knowledge to determine which campaigns will have the greatest impact in increasing the inflow of qualified candidates for our tech teams. After implementing these campaigns, you’ll continuously evaluate and optimize the performance to achieve the best results.  

You’ll also work with our creative team and use your data-driven approach to help improve our content—perhaps you’ll discover that we need a new landing page for a particular role, or that our target audience for a specific role mainly uses TikTok, and therefore we need to create more video content! 

You’ll certainly be diving into Google Analytics and the specifics of SEO, SEA, and CRO. Anything and everything that helps us to generate more high quality applications for our tech roles!!!

⭐ About you

• 2-5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent skill level
• Bachelor’s in econometrics or equivalent 
• Broad hands-on experience with tools like Facebook Ads, Google Ads (SEA), Google Analytics, Google Search Console (SEO), or Hotjar / Microsoft Clarity (CRO)
• Strong sense of business impact
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to derive insights from campaign data and relay these to teams and stakeholders in a way that makes sense to them
• You’re welcome to apply even if you don’t have a traditional marketing background
• Fluency in English (Dutch not required)
