🥜 In a nutshell

First things first: The role of an Intern at Picnic is a versatile one. From day one, you’ll coordinate a project in a holistic and sustainable way and be end-to-end responsible for one part of our business. It’s important to us that you drive the project or other improvements from initiation to implementation. 

You will be part of our Partnerships team collaborating directly with suppliers to service them with strategic insights. We provide a tailored and data-driven approach to their existing or new to be designed strategies. Improving our customer’s experience in the Picnic store is the overarching goal in our joint ambition to make a commercial impact among consumers. Together with our partners, we find the right strategies and develop tools to optimize product development, sales impact, promotion spend, supply chain efficiency and sustainability. You will have a unique peak in the kitchen of the world’s fastest growing online supermarket and build a network in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods field

🎯 What you’ll do

  • Create dashboards to track performance and optimize the Picnic store. This comes down to designing products and visualizations based on a live connection with our Data Warehouse.
  • Develop your technical skills by analysing customer behavior e.g. finding patterns in customer types, promotion performance or developing A/B testing scenarios.
  • Present your findings to sharpen your communication skills and improve the shopping experience at Picnic

About you

  • You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in a quantitative field of study, such as in Business Administration, Management, Econometrics or Engineering
  • You have experience in excel or similar programs
  • You have a passion for detail and are number driven
  • You are fluent in both verbal and written English, proficient knowledge in German preferable
  • Availability: at least 4-6 months with potentially moving into a fulltime position afterwards
