🥜 In a nutshell

Picnic is growing rapidly and dealing with broader, more complex and international challenges every day. We are looking for a legal counsel to be a part of our legal team at our Amsterdam HQ, to help us scale in Germany. You will get a 360 view of Picnic and work on a wide range of German legal matters together with other members of our legal team. You will also work a lot with the German team located in our Düsseldorf office. Topics will range from especially real estate and commercial contracts to a wide variety of day to day contracting to compliance matters and disputes — the full package.

🎯 What you’ll do

  •     Be the backbone of our growth in Germany by supporting on many legal topics, especially in lease and service matters.
  •     Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of business contracts, e.g., lease, commercial, supply, software, building & equipment, service agreements, and more.
  •     Independently deal with day-to-day legal questions, compliance matters, and disputes across all topics (labour, real estate, food safety etc.).
  •     Provide hands-on and pragmatic legal support to the different areas of the business.

 

About you

  •     Second state examination in law
  •      2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience as a lawyer with a medium-sized or large law firm and/or in-house
  •     Excellent drafting, negotiation and project management skills
  •     Proactive and hands-on mentality
  •     Pragmatic and commercial approach to legal matters
  •     Able to work independently as well as under the supervision of legal counsels
  •     German native speaker and excellent English skills
