A growing company means a growing number of payments! We're looking for a Finance Administrator with an economical background to join our Finance Team. You’ll be processing invoices and act as a first point of contact for our creditors. It’s crucial that you love numbers, details, and structure. Your input will have an effect on the entire Finance Team, so we’re looking for a team player who is very motivated to work accurately and correctly. This role will focus on the roll-out and growth of our French business.
Picnic has organized its finance teams per market, and you’ll join the existing two members in the Amsterdam office that help our teams stay financially fit. The finance team is largely based out of Amsterdam and Dusseldorf, so you’ll be able to interact and learn from the other regions and make sure we leverage as much knowledge as possible into this new market.
🎯 What you’ll do
- Be the first point of contact of the business and Finance team in relation to questions on both invoice processing and payments
- Manage invoice processes and communicate with creditors (accounts payable)
- Show hands-on mentality in our daily finance operations, for instance solving issues on a day-to-day basis
- Help identify improvement initiatives for our finance operations
⭐ About you
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Economics
- At least 1 year of experience in a finance administrative role, gained in an internship or as a working student
- Detail oriented and accurate way of working
- Experienced with Excel
- Excellent in French and English, both verbal and written
- Out-of-the-box thinking and initiative: Hands-on, nothing-is-impossible mindset
