🥜 In a nutshell 

As Category Manager - Private Label (or Private Label Sheriff as we call you at Picnic), you will be responsible for the entire process of the development of our private label products. Together with a passionate team, your goal will be to select the best products for the best prices and make sure that they have a stunning design. As a key part of the private label development team, you will also work closely together with category managers, suppliers, and our design agencies.

 

🎯 What you’ll do

• Create beautiful and affordable products that blow our customers away! 
• Take responsibility for the entire development process of Picnic-branded products
• Drive negotiations and/or tender processes to source Picnic products
• Manage various stakeholders including suppliers, design agencies, and supply chain
• Be co-responsible for the strategy and success of one of the Picnic categories

 

⭐ About you

• MSc. degree
• 1-3 years work experience in a product development role in the retail industry
• Experience with project management and stakeholder management
• Persistence and enthusiasm
• Analytical mind but not afraid of getting creative
• Fluency in English and Dutch
