🥜 In a nutshell
As a MLOps Engineer at Picnic, you’ll work on building the tools and infrastructure to help our data scientists quickly build and productionize robust machine learning models.
Working closely with data scientists and analysts, you’ll identify opportunities to improve the machine learning lifecycle at Picnic. From tools that improve model experimentation, to automations that simplify model deployment. You will collaborate with other platform teams at Picnic to make sure our tech stack remains aligned with the rest of the Tech team, while building and integrating the solutions that solve the problems unique to machine learning systems.

🔥 What challenges await you
Various MLOps-oriented projects to:
- Make sure our machine learning models are reproducible and fair
- Improve monitoring in order to exercise operational excellence
- Simplify and standardize usage of tools by developing and inner-sourcing Python packages
- Automate machine learning model retraining and deployment
Your contributions to the platform will power:
- Recommendation systems: generating useful in-app grocery suggestions for our customers
- Search and suggest
- Fraud and outlier detection
- Predicting delivery drop-off times for our distribution
- Natural Language Processing: create automated systems to categorize and label Customer Success tickets
- Improving operational efficiency in our automated fulfillment center
You will definitely:
- Work closely with data scientists to identify opportunities, define use cases, and scope out the requirements
- Own your own project from inception to production
- Develop tools and enhancements for our Data Science Platform
👩💻 Technologies you'll use
- Python (PyTorch, Tensorflow, MLflow, FastAPI - or we build our own packages)

👉🏼 Who you are
- Master’s degree or higher in AI, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least three years of experience in productionizing machine learning models, preferably using Docker and Kubernetes
- Proven track record of scaling development and adoption of machine learning in an organization
- Strong Python skills
- Comfortable with taking responsibility, showing initiative, and working independently
- Ability to think outside the box and an anything-is-possible mindset
- Quality control: commitment to excellence, performance, and efficiency
- ...and for bonus points: you have experience with Terraform
