🥜 In a nutshell
First things first: The role of an Intern at Picnic is a versatile one. From day one, you’ll coordinate a project in a holistic and sustainable way and be end-to-end responsible for one part of our business. It’s important to us that you drive the project or other improvements from initiation to implementation.
You will be part of our Commercial analyst team and will work closely with colleagues from Germany, the Netherlands and France on our international pricing strategy. You will have Gertijn by your side as a mentor who will be supporting you during your whole Picnic journey, standing ready for any personal or professional challenges coming your way!
🎯 What you’ll do
Improve our data quality by checking prices and matches on a daily basis and take a crucial part in keeping our customer promise
Build and optimize models for pricing improvements by evaluating and processing adjustments and investigating anomalies
Communicate effectively with different stakeholders across Picnic such as our tech and data teams to deliver impactful and sustainable solutions
Compare products and processes quantitatively and qualitatively from different competitors and regions on a product level
Develop tools to dynamically adapt prices throughout Germany
⭐ About you
You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a quantitative field of study, such as in Mathematics, Econometrics, Informatics or Engineering
You have experience in excel or similar programs
You have a passion for detail and are number driven
You are fluent in both verbal and written English, proficient knowledge in German preferable
You have EU citizenship or a valid visa to work in the EU
Availability: at least 4-6 months
